lives are changed when we demonstrate love

With much of the nation's citizens involved in subsistence farming, food insecurity in Malawi can be a serious issue when crop yields are poor from erratic rains or insect infestations. Over 50% of the country's caloric intake comes from maize (corn), and is cooked into a porridge called nsima.  It is the daily staple of much of sub-Saharan Africa.

Through local churches and village chiefs,  Demonstrate Love identifies the neediest of families: the elderly, widows, and orphans and provides food, especially during the "hunger months" before harvest time.
